Trade Assistant

Manufacturing Site | $37.17 per hour | Long Term Opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Trade Assistant to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a long term opportunity with strong potential for permanent placement for the right person.

The Role

Working alongside skilled tradespeople, you will assist with day to day mechanical and production support tasks within the workshop and manufacturing environment.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Previous experience using hand and power tools

• Experience in a manufacturing, workshop or industrial environment

• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team

• Reliable, punctual and safety focused

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting trades with mechanical tasks

• Using hand and power tools

• General workshop duties and site support

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Supporting production as required

Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

• Overtime available

Pay Rate

$37.17 per hour
